Rainshadow XST 1084 Vs Sage 290F
      03/09/08 06:16 PM

All this "rod talk" got me to thinking again....I'm mulling having an XST 1084 or perhaps even a 1143 made to replace an older IMX 1025c in my arsenal of rods. I just seem to enjoy drift fishing the 9' to 9' 6" rods way more than the shorter ones anymore. I'll grab my lami X96 JC or the Sage 290 over that sweet little IMX....

But as I have a 9' Sage 290 already, what differences are there between the 2 rods in question (Sage & XST 1084)...& is one better than the other in certain applications??
