I will be fishing the applegate on some private property Thursday through Sunday and I am hoping the water level and rain cooperate with us. I will have my brother in lawand his dad (coming from Pennsylvania) and his brother (coming in from Alaska) so we want it to be a great weekend. His dad has never fished for steelhead but is an excellent fisherman so I think we will have a great weekend, just hoping the river stays fishable. We will be fishing near the town of applegate and I was wondering what water level is to high to fish for steelhead. I was fishing it when it was down to like 100cfs but now it is up to 270cfs and might go up a little to like 300cfs or so. Do you think it will stay somewhat fishable? I figure it should be fine just wanted to ask some who might fish in this area. Thanks for the help and look for a cool high definition video of our applegate fishing trip on my website in a few weeks!
