4100 cfs out of warm springs dam, river close to 6000 cfs by Grants Pass. Very large numbers of winter steelhead above Gold Ray, but really very little in the way/places you'd have a prayer in hell of getting at them.
Make things more interesting 'they' have the fish ladder at Savage Rapids dam (half way between Grants Pass/Rogue River) CLOSED OFF. Zip water coming through same, I gather for the next three weeks!
Once you get below GP, the river in many areas, tends to widen out so you do have a few bank shows (Matson Bar/Finley Bend or Whitehorse) but with a snow pack of 175% of normal ... this will be 'normal' for quite some time. Fred A. Evans
