North Umpqua report
      08/11/08 07:25 AM

Hardly worth posting, but the North Umpqua is going to be in the crapper for quite awhile. I spent two weeks throwing everything but Dupont spinners at the very few fish that were around, only to land one 6# buck (victim of a fresh sand shrimp) and lose a +/- 8# hen (on eggs) after three aerial displays.

This has to be setting the stage for the worst return numbers in 20+ years. Word to the wise...save your gas money and pray for better results in mid/late September.
