I was high bidder for the George Rose site support trip auction awhile back and took the trip yesterday. Accompanied by my brother we also had along IFISH4U and Tommy (some guy from Bellevue). Here's few pictures from the trip.
Snappy gets it started within 5 minutes, naturally George had a knack of dropping us in the right spot.
Within 15 minutes I was into one, man was that a tussle, I managed to land my first keeper. Did I mention that it rained and rained?
Next up to bat was Tommy, he did a good job bringing this missile way back to the boat. What a poser! That's George standing behind.
Well what can we say about Freddie? He makes quick work of landing a keeper and then decides to nap during our long discussion on hunting. High rods need the rest.
After a full day with many hookups we decided to call it before the ride in to Chinook got to rough. We had wave breaking over the bow that had George finding cover behing that windshield.
Then George showed us some knife work.
Some concentration right there!
Thanks George! That was a great trip! We will be doing it again next year! It was good fishing with U again Fred! First time Tommy had fun.
