Took a couple hours this afternoon and fished from Dayville to Kimberly and up the North Fork. The good news is the North Fork isn't puking any ice. The bad news is the water is cold, clear and low- we need some rain! Hit 7 honey holes, and ended up going 1 for 2. Not bad for a 4 hour vacation. The river is low enough, it is hard to get a good drift, but if you decide to fish over here- keep your presentation small. Eggs and night crawlers will work, so will small drift patterns. Your best bet is probably below Service Creek, but it is only a matter of time before we see good numbers on the North Fork. There are a few fish around, but it seems like every year after a shot of rain or run-off we get some fresh fish. If anyone is interested in fishing over here shoot me a pm. T-Roy [img]
