i too had a pretty good year up at the barrier dam. mostly drift fishing eggs the same spot as those guys in the pics -- my last fish came on a silver spoon. one day i hooked 6 and only landed one, having 2 come unbuttoned prematurely, and 3 breaking me off at my feet in the shallows! toothy little buggers...
i fished the island once, but there were a pair of crackers who were honestly there every single day(at least when i fished). one of them couldn't handle a levelwind to save his life and would tangle with your gear on every single cast.
if we aren't supposed to eat fish, why are they made out of meat?
